Joint venture between NFS and AMX sees seamless AV integration on a global level

Hospitality, Facilities and event solutions scheduling software experts NFS Technology Group explains their latest venture with AMX to redefine AV integration.

NFS has released information regarding their introduction of a ‘seamless solution room space scheduling and digital signage’, incorporating leading factors from both companies’ prestigious backgrounds.

The choice to join forces with HARMAN’S AMX is one that has presented NFS with the ability to be the first to introduce a system that offers full integration thanks to the recently released API (or application programming interface) from AMX. Together with NFS’s incorporation of software installations in over 25 countries across the world, the two companies combine the best of both worlds to create an innovative solution that sees both technologies come together to combine essential elements for global customers across many industries and business sectors.

The new API that shares the flexibility of NFS Technology together with the AV abilities of HARMAN AMX allows users to easily control elements such as video conferencing, AV equipment such as projectors, sound systems, digital signage and effortlessly combine them with room environment functions such as heating, lighting, electronically controlled blinds and curtains and more.

With NFS’s ability to create an easy way to schedule meeting rooms and desk space, matching the most suitable space with the right technology, the results are terrific and look set to revolutionise conferencing and meeting scheduling even further. Providing all the necessary building blocks to produce the best platform for a wide spectrum of industries, both AMX and NFS believe that this venture will provide the complete integrated solution for many clients:

“Our partnership with AMX has resulted in a cost effective approach to scheduling and AV integration, which will be easy for the client to deploy at a relatively competitive price point,” comments NFS Chief Executive Officer Luis De Souza. “It brings together our enterprise level scheduling solution with state of the art AV signage and management solutions, perfectly integrating the best of both worlds.”

What is being defined as offering the ‘total user experience’ by both companies, the scope of being able to integrate so many systems together has generated much interest, especially across many key locations including Europe, South Africa and many more. With NFS Technology Group regularly maintaining a strong foothold in their industry, reacting to relevant news and reports from within their sector, a company spokesperson added:

“This is a marvellous step forward for the company, delivering the first of its kind in integrated scheduling software and we are fully focused on fine tuning our wide range of products to suit the needs of a growing audience.”
