Scheduling software provider NFS Technology
Group reacts to boom in the hospitality recruitment sector thanks to the
reinvigorating of the UK’s pub trade.
Dominating
the scene and indeed the hospitality recruitment industry over the last
quarter, pubs and bars have boosted the demand up by a huge margin, a reported
50% hike. Figures published in the latest Hospitality Index Report also showed
significantly encouraging news for salaries right across the sector, with many
more roles being offered for candidates, within the £30,000+ salary price
bracket.
Although
areas where the most changes were experienced are located across the south of
England, with the south east and London claiming much of the bias, hospitality
is on the rise across Britain, fuelled by factors such as increased inbound UK
tourism and a greater increase in the UK social scene. Rises in salaries for
roles such as pub managers, restaurant managers and similar professionals also
reflect on the importance of hospitality in the UK now.
Food and
drink are definitely leading the way in the UK salary charts, resulting from the
huge social boom, especially in larger towns and cities. With more companies
wining and dining clients and more of us eating out, the restaurant/pub trade
is once again on the rise. In a statement from the chief executive of the
British Hospitality Association, Mr. Ufi Ibrahim, he commented on the magnetism
of the current sector saying:
“It is no
longer enough to expect that young people will naturally gravitate towards our
industry. At the BHA we have long held the view that the best way to predict
the future is to shape it. The question is how do we achieve it? As an industry
we learn from experience; we champion growth and we embrace change and
innovation. Most importantly we know and understand that the future of our
industry depends on attracting, investing in and developing the future
generation through job creation.”
NFS
Technology Group regularly responds to news and reports within the leisure,
hospitality and corporate conferencing sectors. A spokesperson for the company

our integrated software solutions offer a complete and efficient way to
effectively manage all aspects of a pub or restaurants services and point of
