TREMCO guarantees MSCPs extended life

Thanks to long experience and exhaustive system development, tremco illbruck can offer multi-storey car park owners and operators an extended working life for such structures, reducing long term maintenance and optimising revenue. Importantly, there is a choice of systems including methyl methacrylate and polyurethane technologies to suit different project demands as well as a network of approved contractors able to install systems backed by warranties of up to 10 years.

tremco illbruck utilises a rapid curing methyl methacrylate formulation for the MMA system, which can allow parking areas to be usable within just four hours. It can even be applied in temperatures as low as freezingand is combined with a fleece reinforcement to help withstand high levels of structural movement and can incorporate hard aggregates to cope with the high wear imposed by vehicle movement; such as on ramps or turning areas.

The Rapid Cure solution for car park structures comprises two options:

The MMA Intermediate Decking System that uses a primer coat and one or more build coats containing fillers and aggregates, to create a durable base: followed by a pigmented top coat for an aesthetic finish.

The MMA Flexible Decking System must be used for exposed levels or above accommodation. The primer is this time followed by a flexible build coat containing fillers and aggregates to better accommodate stresses.

Applicable to vehicle and pedestrian decks, the TREMCO CP polyurethane range, offers tenacious adhesion characteristics, excellent chemical resistance and elastomeric properties. The TREMCO CP350/CP951 system comprises a modified polyurethane traffic deck coating, featuring a membrane with excellent elastomeric properties and sealer coats incorporating aggregate which can withstand high impact.

The TREMCO range also includes CP250,a single part, rapid curing, modified polyurethane waterproofing membrane that can be applied directly to green or damp concrete surfaces. Also included in the range is CP470 which not only improves the appearance and light reflectance of the underside to decks, but also helps guard against carbonation of the concrete.
