OSB helps create the perfect space for London yoga studio
Pictured is the Yogarise, Peckham studio
Sterling OSB is traditionally seen on building sites or to secure a building when windows and shops have been smashed. However, the building material is fast becoming an exciting design element for exciting buildings.
Yogarise, a yoga studio based in Peckham, is the latest space to use Sterling OSB as an edgy and alternative material. The studio comprises urban elements in using exposed OSB to stay in keeping with its location (Peckham's Bussey Building). Sterling OSB is mixed with coloured Perspex to add contrasting textures and colours.
Emma Arnold, owner of Yogarise, comments "We wanted to keep the studio beautifully light by separating the practice area with a partition and Sterling OSB was an affordable, versatile and on-trend way to do this. After six months, we wanted to expand the studio and the partition wall was incredibly easy to move; we just unscrewed it and moved it."
