Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate Report Successful Season

Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate on St Ives Bay is celebrating the result of an exceptional season this month, announcing record breaking summer visitor numbers, a national awards shortlist and an outstanding food hygiene rating.

With fine British weather that lasted throughout the summer, the Hotel & Estate experienced increased reservations and day visits - resulting in record visitor numbers, with a reported turnover increase well in excess of 15%.

Other achievements for the Estate this year include having reached the finals in the prestigious Professional Beauty Awards for their C Bay Spa - making the hotel the only business from the South West to make the final shortlist across the 12 categories.

Additionally, both the hotel's award-winning Sands Restaurant and its new Beach Club Restaurant have been awarded 5* ratings in the Food Hygiene awards - making Carbis Bay the only large hotel in the local area to achieve 5* in both its food offerings.
