Shrink wrap
machinery manufacturers ADPAK maintain their focus on environmental efficiency
ahead of the first Pan European Plastics Recycling Exhibition & Conference
in November 2015.
Taking part
on the 25th and 26th November 2015, the PRS event will be
held at the Tour & Taxis Venue, located in Brussels. Exclusively dedicated
to the recycling of plastics, a number of industry specialists will be joining
Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE) in supporting the exhibition, providing a
selection of working group meetings and discussions, all of which will be
available to non-members visiting next November.
The outline
of the show will focus on such aspects as multiple conference streams that are
aimed directly at professionals within the plastics recycling industry, allow
leaders from the sector to network, capitalise and learn more about what
industry benefits are offered by the recycling of plastics. In a statement from
the President of Plastics Recyclers Europe, Ton Emans, he was direct on the
necessity to further promote effective recycling on a global scale:
“To achieve
the new recycling targets we must increase the plastics recycling capacity in
the EU.”
“The
Plastics Recycling Show is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your
knowledge and expertise in collection, sorting, grinding, washing, drying and
extrusion to investors, waste management companies, brand owners, converters,
entrepreneurs and recyclers. EU and national policy makers and many other
stakeholders will also visit this unique trade show in the heart of the EU in
order to better understand how plastics will contribute to the circular
economy. If you believe in plastics recycling come and join us my dear
friends!”
Located in
Lancashire, shrink wrap equipment manufacturer and supplies provider ADPAK
follow their industry closely, responding to the latest relevant news and
announcements. A spokesperson for the company believes that better recycling
awareness; especially where plastics are concerned is a worldwide focus that
all industries need to consider more seriously:
“Just as
many other companies based in the UK, our approach to recycling is extremely
important for our company. The fact that plastics recycling is now widely
carried out across the globe is even more reason for the industry to have its
own annual event and as Brussels is at the heart of EU legislation regarding
the recycling of plastic, it seems very natural to host the event there.”
Expected to
be a huge success, PRS are looking to increase the current low profile of
plastic recycling in Europe, where currently more than 50% of plastics end up
at landfill sites.
