From the Blackbird LondonTreasure Trovecollection are these totally unique, individual and original Love Tokens, engraved with names on Victorian Sixpence coins. The act of giving altered coins as a token of love has been happening since the 15^thcentury. The very first love tokens were coins that had been bent twice in order that they could no longer be used as money.

These love tokens are reworked pieces, each coin measuring approx. 2cms across and hung on a chain approx. 40cms in length.

Treasure Troveis a Blackbird London collection inspired by a bygone era and reworked into a contemporary design using vintage elements. Each piece is lovingly made in Blackbirds Battersea studio.
