Richard Webster & Co, a solicitors in Hampshire who
specialise in residential and commercial conveyancing, have responded to news
that the Conveyancing Association have released a new best practice guide.
The guide, launched at the beginning of the month, has been
created in an effort to better communication lines between estate agents and
conveyancers, speeding up transactions and offering buyers and sellers access
to superior services.
The guide was sparked by the results of a Conveyancing
Association poll, which discovered that almost half (47%) of all buyers
believes communication between parties could have been handled better.
Additionally, the poll also highlighted that 64% of house-buyers reported
difficulties, including delays, when making transactions.
Chairman of the Conveyancing Association, Eddie Goldsmith,
said: “We know that many estate agents and Conveyancing Association members
already have effective working practices and, since the results of the consumer
survey, would like to share and develop these practices for the benefit of the
membership and their estate agent contacts. This will ultimately improve the
home owner experience.
“Whilst not a mandatory guide, it brings together what the
Conveyancing Association believes is a sensible and measured approach in
helping to improve communications for the benefit of all concerned.”
Managing director for the National Association of Estate
Agents, Mark Hayward, added: “I would like to congratulate the CA on its work
to develop this very useful guide and commend the work that it does in
representing the sector.”
Richard Webster, a solicitors who specialise in
conveyancing, often share their thoughts on related industry news and research.
They believe the new guide will help buyers to receive a more hassle-free
service.
A representative for Richard Webster said: “The newly
released guide will go a long way towards helping buyers and sellers to
initiate and complete conveyancing transactions. It will be a great help for
conveyancers, estate agents and solicitors too, helping to make transactions
much faster and leading to much better services for buyers.
“As a leading provider of residential and commercial
conveyancing services, we believe the Conveyancing Association guide, while not
mandatory, will be greatly appreciated by all parties.”
