Tulip Ltd Creates 145 New Jobs in Westerleigh
Tulip Ltd, the UK's number one food solutions business is looking to recruit an additional 145 colleagues for its Westerleigh production facility following the completion of a £16m project to expand the site.
The investment has seen the existing abattoir become a state-of-the-art facility, now one of the most advanced in the UK, it will enable Tulip to grow both its home market as well as increasing its capacity to export product around the world including the growing Chinese market. In addition to the investment in the abattoir a new retail production facility has been created which will enable the site to produce and cure joints for the UK's retail market.
Tulip is now looking for enthusiastic people who would like a career with the country's leading food business, as Tulip's HR Director, Kirsty Wilkins explains; "We are just completing a major project to expand our Westerleigh operation and are looking for around 145 people to come and join us in a range of roles within our redeveloped state-of-the-art abattoir and newly created retail production area.
"This is a very exciting time in the development of our Westerleigh operation as we have invested heavily to enable it to become a world-class production facility ready to meet the increasing demand for our range of quality food products, both here at home, and for export all around the world."
