Growing consultancy selects Mercury xRM to support ambitious growth strategy

A specialist finance recruitment business has unveiled an ambitious growth strategy and invested in state-of-the-art Mercury xRM rapid recruitment software, as it starts to grow its brand in a busy market.

Haig&Co may have only been set up towards the end of 2014 but is built upon the experience and knowledge of Director Damian Navas, someone with over 15 years of recruitment & search experience. And as the company enters the first phases of growth, Damian Navas explains why installing Mercury xRM early on, is going to accelerate plans.

It’s important for me to have Mercury xRM live very quickly so that I can use it as a tool to assist with the on boarding of new staff. It has a very simple user interface and is an intuitive tool for new & old recruits to learn. The fact it integrates with Microsoft Office 365 means that we don’t have to open lots of windows to deploy additional functionality, meaning we can work quickly and smartly.

Haig&Co investigated a number of different recruitment solutions before selecting Mercury xRM on a scalable user subscription model, enabling the firm to add new users to the system as it grows. Another deciding factor in the decision was Mercury xRM’s seamless social media integration. Social media is a significant part of Haig&Co’s overall recruitment strategy, and vital to helping the company unearth upper quartile talent.

Damian Navas continued: “To succeed and grow in today’s recruitment world, our talent attraction strategy has to incorporate social media. The financial directors of tomorrow are particularly active on LinkedIn and Twitter so we must also be seen on these networks. Mercury xRM will allow us to connect and reach out to candidates on these platforms quickly and easily.

The solution will also provide Haig&Co with greater visibility of information in real time, which management will use to make better, more informed decisions, and to measure the performance of the business and its team, which is critical for growth. At such an early stage in the company’s development, Damian Navas said that it was important Haig&Co partnered with a solutions provider that understands the challenges of the industry.

He concluded: “The fact that Mercury xRM is built by recruiters, for recruiters was of great significance. We have confidence that it truly meets the needs of the modern recruiter and with built-in workflows suited to the needs of our individual recruitment processes. This is going to become a key tool in the growth of our business.

Haig&Co is expecting go live on Mercury xRM before the end of April 2015, and will benefit from being on the latest 2015 version of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform
