Cornish Hotel Recognised At National Beauty Awards

A luxury hotel and spa near St Ives is the only business across Cornwall and Devon to be shortlisted in the prestigious Professional Beauty Awards, which take place this month.

Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate's C Bay Spa has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Residential Spa of the Year category of the Professional Beauty Awards and will find out whether they have won at a black tie ceremony taking place in London on Sunday February 22^nd.

The Professional Beauty Awards is the most prestigious and established awards scheme for the beauty, spa, nails and aesthetics markets, recognising those who make a real difference to the industry and encouraging their development.

Entries are invited from spas, beauty or nail salons, employers and individuals who stand out from the crowd and deserve recognition as a world-class player in the beauty and spa industry.

Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate entered the awards during the summer of 2014 and were one of only five spas to reach the final in this category - and the only entry across Cornwall and Devon to make the final shortlist across the 12 categories.

Stephen Baker, owner of Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate is thrilled with the nomination saying:

Carbis Bay's C-Bay Spa was launched in 2013, and offers a range of therapies and treatments set within a calming atmosphere, enhancing the relaxation and wellbeing of guests.

The facilities, which are open year-round to guests and locals, include a bespoke hydrotherapy pool, sauna pod and an outdoor heated swimming pool.

Last summer, Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate also launched its Beach Club & Spa, offering a restaurant and spa facilities on its privately owned, 25 acre Blue Flag beach.
