A ROYAL WELCOME FOR RICHARD 111 VISITORS

[image]"Breakfast like a king" is an age-old saying. There will be much interest in Leicester next month for the reinterment of the remains of King Richard 111 in Leicester Cathedral on March 26. There will be over 100 different events and activities taking place in and around Leicester and many people will be planning to visit the new exhibition centre - built on the site of the medieval friary of the Grey Friars where the king's remains were buried over 500 years ago after the Battle of Bosworth Field. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, look no further; you will be assured a right royal welcome if you stay at one of the Wolsey Lodges in easy reach of the city.

[image]Named after Cardinal Wolsey, King Henry V111th's chancellor, who famously toured the realm and stayed in some of the finest country houses, Wolsey Lodges represent the ultimate in luxury B&B. Each one is privately owned and is the family home of the owner, your host for your stay. You will breakfast like a king on home made preserves, home baked bread, home or locally produced eggs, bacon and sausages - a royal feast to set you up for a day's sightseeing. Many will also offer a delicious evening meal by prior arrangement and Wolsey Lodges are renowned for serving fabulous food.
