Anticipation Builds for Pioneering ‘Informed Funding' Launch Event

Attendees will gain access to an impressive line-up of speakers who will share their insights on the economy, the banking sector and other forms of finance available to growing businesses.

Informed Funding's new online service aims to fill a void in the finance market. Whilst there are hundreds of sources of finance available, there has been no simple, clear-cut way to search and identify potential partners. Informed Funding is set to revolutionise the industry with its sophisticated search tools that will put businesses in touch with providers that best match their needs, making it easier than ever before for growing businesses to find the right finance solution.

After months of planning, Informed Funding's launch event is now only one week away, and interest and anticipation for the event has been growing with over 300business people now registered to attend.

Hosted byWorkspace PLC(the leading provider of space to growing businesses in London and a founding partner of Informed Funding) at their newest opening The Metal Box Factory, on the 26thof February between 2pm-9pm, the event is playing host to some really interesting sessions, including:

  • ‘Question Time' with a panel of Directors from leading banks including NatWest, Barclays and ‘Challenger' Metro Bank.

  • Key Note SpeakerAlpesh Paleja, Head of Economic Analysis at CBI.

  • Bitcoin expertJonathan Segal, partner at business law firm Fox Williams

  • Case studies includingLovespace, who completed one of the largest equity crowd funding rounds to date in 2014

 Stephen Hammond MP, who is currently the minister responsible for transport in London, has had a long career in finance, and will be answering questions based onhow the Government can help businesses grow.

In a "Question Time" style format, a panel of directors from leading banks including Natwest, Barclays and the challenger Metro Bank will take questions and comments from the audience based on the theme "Is it time to talk to the banks again?" The panel will discuss the current state of the market and how banks intend to aid growing businesses. This is a first of it kind and the debate is likely to be an interesting one!

Alpesh Paleja, the head of Economic Analysis at CBI (Confederation of British Industry) will be posing the question:How will the economic outlook impact on your business?Using his expertise, Mr Paleja will be looking the current state of the economy and putting it into context for growing businesses.
