Thorite Opens New Hydraulic Hose Replacement Service in Huddersfield 

Thorite has launched a new service from its Huddersfield Sales and Service Centre, manufacturing a wide range of replacement hydraulic hoses. The hoses are available in bores from ¼" to 1", to SAE100R2AT, with BSP, JIC or Metric ends. The Centre also offers a full selection of hydraulic fittings including DIN 2391 compression fittings from 6mm to 25mm L & S Series and DIN 2391 hydraulic steel tube, also from 6mm to 25mm.

Stocks of hydraulic accessories cover single/twin clamps, speed/flow control valves, non-return valves, quick release couplings and ball valves. The Centre's fully trained staff also provide a very useful "While U Wait" breakdown service. 

The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5.00pm, enabling a fast, competitively priced and locally-based service for hydraulic plant and machinery operators in a broad spectrum of industries including construction, agriculture, engineering, foundries, injection moulding and CNC machining. 

Speaking of the new service Alan Donkersley, Thorite's Sales Director, said: "This is Thorite's second UK hydraulic hose manufacturing facility and I'm confident it will prove as successful as our existing West Midlands outlet. It means customers can now bring in damaged or broken hydraulic hoses and if necessary have a top quality replacement made up on the spot, probably in a shorter time than it takes to prepare the paperwork afterwards."
