Young Enterprise team gets all ‘Fired Up'
The Young Enterprise initiative continued to progress recently with another trade fair being held at Webb's Garden Centre.
Winning the first award was the team from North Bromsgrove High School by the name of ‘Fired Up' who expanded their previous commendation collection, by demonstrating excellent customer service on the day and receiving praise from the judges as a result.
The judges commented that their lighthouse product was ‘incredibly unique' and completely different from any other product available on the day and praised the team for their ingenuity and creativeness in producing gifts from old and used materials.
The young team of eight entrepreneurs received numerous compliments from customers about their products and brand image, including their unique custom branded carrier bags.
Fired Up also managed to generate a substantial profit on the day and was previously awarded the best overall stand award at the Worcester Cathedral event in December of last year.
Fraser J C Marshall, managing director of ‘Fired Up' commented, "I have always wanted to be part of a Young Enterprise group, but never did I think that I would get such a vital role within our company. It thrills me to be part of such a great team of colleagues and to be able to watch our products being created and the transactions between happy satisfied customers!"
