Maxi-Cosi takes home Gold at the Prima Baby awards

Maxi-Cosi has won two Gold awards at the prestigious Prima Baby awards, with the 2wayPearl winning in the Rear/forward facing car seat category, and the new PebblePlus taking home Gold in the Group 0+ car seat category.

The Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus is the first infant carrier on the market to comply with i-Size safety regulations. The seat offers a special baby-hugg inlay, which offers a better lying position and added comfort, as well as exceptional side-impact protection, making it one of the safest and most comfortable car seats for newborns on the market.

Meanwhile, the Maxi-Cosi AxissFix was awarded Bronze in the Group 1 car seat category. The 360 degree i-Size rotating seat makes for exceptional ease of use, and allows rear facing travel up to approximately 2 years of age and then forward facing up to age 4.

The ever-popular Maxi-Cosi RodiFix car seat with its IsoFix fittings also won Bronze in the Group 2/3 car seat category.

Andrew Ratcliffe, MD of Maxi-Cosi UK, said: "We're passionate about encouraging rearward facing travel for longer in cars and the added safety this affords, so we were delighted to hear that our three i-Size car seats had been chosen to win Prima Baby awards.

"We've worked hard to develop some of the safest seats on the market and it's really fulfilling to see our efforts pay off as more and more parents choose i-Size."

Introduced in 2013, i-Size is an EU safety legislation established to increase the safety levels of child car seats. Maxi-Cosi was highly influential in helping develop the new i-Size car seat legislation (R129) and is leading the way with developing i-Size car seats.
