Eighty seven years after its debut, the Academy Award-winning film, which takes the romantic story of a young American soldier and a beautiful French girl, now takes the stage as a Broadway musical. This ballet at the theatre stars Leanne cope, a First Artist of The Royal Ballet, and is directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon who trained at, and is an Artistic Associate of The Royal Ballet.
Finding Neverland
Based on the Academy Award-winning film Finding Neverland, the story of how Peter became Pan follows JM Barrie's original story and features music and lyrics by Take That's Gary Barlow, and features Laura Michelle Kelly, who was born and brought up in England, in a lead role. Other stars include Kelsey Grammer.
It Should Have Been You
This new musical is a culture clash for the ages when two families from wildly different backgrounds come together to celebrate a wedding - and then the bride's ex-boyfriend arrives bringing everything to a screeching halt.
The King and I
This new production of Rodger and Hammerstein's famous musical boasts a score which features such classics as ‘Getting to know you', ‘Hello young lovers', ‘Shall we dance', and ‘I have dreamed'. It features five-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara and Oscar nominated Ken Watanabe.
Dr Zhivago
Based on the Nobel prize-winning novel and Academy Award winning film, the Broadway adaptation follows the heart-breaking epic romance between the political idealist, physician and poet Dr Zhivago and the passionate and mysterious Lara during the final days of the Russia's Czarist period. Tam Mutu, who plays Dr Zhivago, is originally from the UK and has been involved in a lot of West End productions in London.
Something Rotten
It's 1595, and brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play, but are stuck in Shakespeare's shadow. What to do? The answer comes from a soothsayer who tells them the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting, all at the same time. Hey presto - the musical is born! Writer John O'Farrell is one of the UK's most well-known comic authors and script writers and is the founder of the satirical news website: Newsbiscuit.
