NIGEL FARAGE HAS MET HIS MATCH!
MIHAELA'S RESPONSE TO NIGEL FARAGE ON EMPLOYERS HIRING PRIMARILY BRITISH PEOPLE:
"Nigel Farage wants a law to force employers to hire primarily British people. Narrow-mindedness like this leads to discrimination.
Job applications are open to everyone. Employers hire based on experience, expertise and organisational cultural fit. Furthermore, given the international spread of businesses today, diversity is one of the most important issues for organisations today. Understanding and meeting clients' needs, desires and expectations are based on having a diverse work force.
Employers might prefer immigrants because they work twice as hard to prove their worth and advance in their careers, are respectful because they appreciate being given a chance and reliable because they need that job. There are lots of other attributes immigrants are preferred for: innovative thinking, resilience, multi-language speakers and the list can go on and on. They take the jobs that are available and work their way up. They don't take English people's jobs. They take the jobs English people cannot compete for. Big difference!
If there is something to worry about, then that is the fact that British employers might take advantage of this intense campaign against immigrants and treat them unfairly, beginning with offering a lower salary compared to that they would pay to a British national. That again is pure discrimination!"
ON YOUR POLITICS SHOWS/ TV DEBATES, MIHAELA CAN TALK ABOUT:
Is the UK too divided internally to welcome and integrate different nations?
Experiences of attitudes towards her when people find out her country of origin
Traditions, religion & culture - similarities and differences
Immigrants are hard and driven workers - a threat or an incentive for the English people?
Mixed families - is this the way to integration?
Different cultural background/more languages spoken - the advantage of being an immigrant in a permanently evolving and more divers environment - a threat for the locals?
