TOTALKARE the new name for SOMERSTOTALKARE

The UK's leading provider of heavy-duty vehicle lifts has changed its name as it continues to broaden its range of products and services.

From today (Tuesday, April 14) SOMERSTOTALKARE will be known as TOTALKARE, reflecting the fact that the Halesowen-based firm now delivers much more than the column lifts that first established the company's market leading reputation.

Tim Jackson, TOTALKARE Managing Director, explained: "The Somers name is synonymous with the highest quality mobile vehicle lifts, but over the past few years the business has diversified to offer a much more comprehensive package of vehicle lifting solutions.

"Whilst we will continue to supply our acclaimed cable free and cabled lifts, our product range now includes fixed post lifts, lifts for forklifts and a wide range of ancillary products.

"We have also seen massive demand for our service and maintenance packages, which cover lifts from numerous manufacturers, and this represents one of the fastest growing parts of the business."

The change of name will not have any impact on existing SOMERSTOTALKARE customers, they can expect to receive the same levels of expert care they have come to expect from the country's number one supplier of heavy duty vehicle lifting solutions.

Tim added: "All current directors will remain in place and there will be no changes to the day-to-day running of the business. However, we feel the new name better reflects the way we have grown as a company."

The new name, and a new corporate identity, has been unveiled on the opening day of the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham where the company is showcasing its impressive portfolio of products and services.
