NEW PNEUMATIC APPLICATIONS MANAGER FOR THORITE

The UK's biggest independent distributor of pneumatic products and process systems, Thorite, has appointed Mik Rhodes (49) to the position of Pneumatic Applications Manager. 

Mik brings many years experience to his new role, having spent 20 years in pneumatic equipment design and project management and the last 8 years with major pneumatics equipment manufacturer SMC. 

Speaking of his new position Mik said:

"I'm very much looking forward to providing technical support and solutions which will assist Thorite's numerous Key Account Managers and individual sales staff throughout the company's 10 regional Sales & Service Centres, to the benefit of both existing and future customers. I'll also be utilising my knowledge and experience to help promote new products, vacuum systems and automation projects, to hopefully develop and broaden Thorite's already considerable penetration of the industrial process market." 

Mik will commence working from Thorite's Huddersfield Sales and Service Centre, but will move to the company's new Bradford Head Office once new premises have been located to cope with recent expansion. He lives in Bradford and when not immersed in the complexities of the pneumatics and vacuum market his favourite leisure activities involve cycling and motorcycles.
