Opposites attract for York ice cream maker

Award winning Vale of York ice cream maker Yorvale has capitalised on the trend for salt and sweet with the launch of a Sea Salted Caramel Dairy Ice Cream.

Made from milk from the farm's family herd of cows, combined with double cream from Paynes Dairies at Boroughbridge, British sugar, sea salted caramel chunks and a hand blended salted caramel ripple, the ice cream is available in 500ml tubs through selected farm shops and independent retailers throughout Yorkshire.

Yorvale also produces a frozen yogurt, Yoryog, that is also available from farm shops and independent retailers throughout Yorkshire.
