York based Choc Affair's Sweet New Venture
Choc Affair based in Yorvale Business Park, who are now in their 8th year of trading and produce over 40 tonnes of chocolate every year are venturing into an exciting new area with the launch of a range of natural, hand-made boiled sweets.
"Whilst we love making our chocolate and this will continue to be the core of our business, we want to offer a broader range of confectionery and this range of sweets is the start of that" said Linda Barrie, Director of Choc Affair.
Choc Affair pride themselves on the adventurous and exciting flavours they use in their range of hand-made chocolate bars, where they infuse the chocolate with essential oils to create the delicious flavour fusion.
This love of creating exciting flavours is reflected in the new range of sweets which consists of a Peach & Apricot variant, a Raspberry and Rose and an Orange and Geranium. The sweets all use natural flavourings and colourings and the flavours are delicate and refreshing.
They are packaged in retro-style milk bottles and are available in independent stores across the Yorkshire region as well as being available to online.
"The nostalgic milk-bottle packaging and the quirky sweet-shaped label, together with the beautiful flavour combinations make these sweets an ideal gift or inclusion in hampers and are sure to add a touch of glamour to Yorkshire stores!" added Linda.
