Thixendale business chooses Malton Food Festival to launch new lines

The husband and wife team behind Thixendale business, Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil will be launching two new mayonnaise products at the Malton Food Lovers Festival next month (23rd-24thMay).

Adam and Jennie Palmer will launch Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil's new Mini Mayonnaises that come in handy 190g jars that are ideal for summer picnics and alfresco eating.

Yorkshire Oak Smoked mayonnaise ismade using a blend of award winning Staal Smokehouse Oak Smoked Rapeseed Oil and the best-selling natural Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil mayonnaise. It is a tasty accompaniment for meats, cheese and fish.

Yorkshire Mustard Mayonnaise is a unique blend of Bracken Hill Fine Food's mustards and creamy Yorkshire Mayonnaise that goes well with sandwiches, chips and salads.

The new mini mayonnaise products complement the 315g Mayonnaise that are available in Natural, Garlic and Lemon flavours. They cost £3.50, but will be on promotion at the Malton Food Lovers Festival at 3 for £10.

Both products are gluten free and are suitable for vegetarians.

Visitors to the show will also be able to shop from the entire Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil range that also includes natural and deli oils and dressings. There will also be the chance to buy ‘Cooking with Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil'; a 170 page cookery book that includes 164 recipes and a foreword by Malton Food Lovers Festival Patron, James Mackenzie of the Michelin starred Pipe and Glass at South Dalton.

Adam and Jennie Palmer have supported the thriving festival for the last three years and their crop is grown just 10 miles from the festival's site in the heart of the historic market town.

Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil was established in 2008 by Adam and Jennie Palmer on their family farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds. 

Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil products are also available at farmers' markets, farm shops, delis and independent retailers throughout Yorkshire.

The annual Food Lovers Festival, which takes place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May, transforms Malton into a food lover's paradise and attracts over 20,000 visitors.
