Commenting on the fundraising promotion, Andrew Jones said: "We are delighted to support Slow Food UK and its valuable work. I am proud to be a Chef Alliance member and have long been a fan of many of the forgotten foods in the Ark of Taste. We support a number of different charities through the year - in fact we had an event last week on behalf of The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Children's Fund that raised over £3,000. We are also organizing an evening concert on Saturday 11 July within Leadenhall Market to raise further funds for this charity."
