Top safety award for Norbord OSB mill

 Norbord wins Safe Maintenance award

Norbord's European OSB mill in Genk has won one of Belgium's top annual safety awards; the Safe Maintenance award.

This Technical Industry Maintenance safe award initiative is associated with OSHA's campaign on Safe Maintenance and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work. The jury highlighted the Genk team's structured planning and document control for processes such as lock out, fire permits, risk assessments and work orders, as well praising its safety performance and the quality of its own internal safety audits.
