An East Yorkshire farm machinery importer has further consolidated his partnership with Polish manufacturing giant, Unia, by launching its range of Ares Discs in the UK.
Market Weighton based Manterra Ltd. is the sole UK importer for Unia Group, Central Europe's leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery.
Of the launch of the Ares Discs, Manterra founder, farmer and agronomist Andrew Manfield said: "Unia is one of Europe's leading suppliers of Disc Cultivators and produces four models with options to suit different needs, all at a price that is unmatched in the market place."
The Unia Ares range comprises four models, with several types of discs and disc mounting options, including three types of sprung steel mount and ten different types of roller options.
L Hiles & Sons farm in East Yorkshire and were looking for strong and cost effective discs. Matthew Hiles said: "Compared to the last discs we had, they are well built and excellent value for money - we're getting on great with them."
