Celebrate with The Kernow Sausage Company at The Royal Cornwall Show

The Kernow Sausage Companyis celebrating a year of expansion and diversification by rewarding its loyal customers during The Royal Cornwall Show. 

The company was formed in 2007 by butcher-turned-entrepreneur Gavin Roberts, whose winning formula of welfare-reared Cornish pork, family recipes and high standards in the production process met with great success.

Eight years on, The Kernow Sausage Company is a regular at food festivals and other events throughout Cornwall, a keen supporter of local charities and sports teams, and enjoys glowing testimonies from many of the region's top chefs who are proud to use its products.

In a recent development, Gavin launched new food wholesalerTwo Brothers Foods, bringing The Kernow Sausage Company into a stable of other quality ingredients for professional kitchens sourced from Cornwall and beyond.

To celebrate the continued popularity of his first venture, Gavin has decided to offer visitors to The Royal Cornwall Show a selection of rewards at the Kernow Sausages stand, which is located in The Cornwall Food & Farming Pavilion (Stand 402).

Vouchers will be given out on the gate and will include money off hearty breakfasts and tasty lunches from the famous Kernow Sausage's BBQ, and on sausage packs to enjoy at home.

Visitors to the stand can also enter a competition to win a large hamper packed with sausages, bacon and award-winning hog's pudding.

Gavin explained that he wanted to give something back to his customers, saying: "The first few years of a business are always difficult and then it's a question of consolidating your success - we've done that and now we want to reward the people who have supported us and enjoyed our food over the years."

He added: "The Royal Cornwall Show is a highlight in our calendar and has acted as a marker of our success each year as we gradually became a force to be reckoned with on the Cornish food scene, so this is a great way for us to celebrate another fantastic year."

Show-goers will also be able to find out more about the whole Two Brothers Foods range, which is available to professional kitchens across the South West.
