4see partner with NHS to provide groundbreaking e-learning
Market leading Health, Safety, Training and Environmental consultancy, 4see Ltd, has formed a partnership with a NHS centre of excellence to provide e-learning courses.
The Towcester based company and the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Oswestry, have developed a new e-learning product that allows people working in health and social care to access risk management training. The new website also provides access to other key training courses which are beneficial to people working in non-health and social care organisations.
Hugh Owen, Commercial Manager of 4see said: “We provided face to face training on risk assessment that went down very well at the hospital. However the cost of training everyone this way was prohibitive.
“The training manager at the hospital approached us to see if we could convert the content into an e-learning module and that has now led to this partnership.”
The website - http://rjahlearning.co.uk/RJAHHomePage.aspx - provides a one-stop shop offering e-learning
and facilitated training courses to support all types of employees to have the
knowledge and skills to work effectively in their job roles, reducing the risks
to themselves, patients, clients and to the organisations they work for.
All training and development opportunities are
offered and delivered flexibly to ensure all opportunities are accessible to
all staff groups and meet the needs of the organisation for whom they work. All
learning modules are designed to suit a variety of needs and can be customised
to meet the demands of employees within different organisations.
Jo Bayliss, Training Manager at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, said: “4see were the natural choice to work with in developing this module following the feedback we received from Trust staff who attended the face to face sessions delivered by 4See.
“Managing risk is a huge part of the NHS today. Being able to provide a quality, comprehensive and yet resource efficient training course to our staff and to be able to offer this opportunity to other organisations is very important and will ensure key standards are maintained.”
