One-stop-online-spot for berry news launched

The one-stop-online-spot for berry news and information called The Berry Room www.the-berry-room.com was officially launched today - designed to provide a reliable source of information on berries and their benefits, whilst seeking input from berry lovers around the globe.

Created by Europe's leading red fruit processor, Iprona AG, The Berry Room is designed for all who seek to learn more about berries, their many health benefits, research and recipes or to share information.

According to Iprona's science adviser Akam Anyangwe who manages The Berry Room, the changing demographics and consumer preferences are affecting demand about information on all food products especially those with a health focus like berries.

"People are more health conscious these days and the demand for knowledge is constantly growing. As our business is berries we wanted to share the extensive amount of information available to the world through this one stop shop," he said.

"Historically berries have been the life force for humans and have been part of the staple foods and used for healing for centuries so it is time to put all that information into one space.
