INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCE FOR PORTASTOR AT RAILTEX 2015
In May, Portastor exhibited at the biggest Railtex for over 10 years held at Birmingham's NEC. According to the organiser, over 10,000 visitors from the international rail industry travelled to see leading suppliers displaying the latest railway technology, equipment and innovations.
An indication of the growing importance the industry has placed on Railtex is the number of international companies taking part. There were 20 different countries represented on the exhibition floor by the exhibitors. Railtex 2015 had more European suppliers exhibiting than at recent shows and there was also a significant representation of exhibitors from China.
Portastor CEO David Jennings said: "There was a real buzz about Railtex, and it was good for our team to connect with many of our clients and let them know about our latest developments. Our ehousings and modular buildings for substations proved a popular draw, particularly our plug and play solutions.
"Our stand attracted some potential leads which our sales team are following up on, and we're confident the show helped us to achieve good exposure among the international rail marketplace."
