Top Safety Accreditation for Boulting Group

North West based engineering business Boulting Group has been awarded accreditation from Safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.

Employing over 1,000 people, Boulting Group is principally involved in the engineering construction sector, specialising in the pharmaceutical, nuclear, chemical/petrochemical, oil and gas and water and utilities industries and with a £100million turnover.

Safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.

In addition, Boulting Environmental Services (BES), the division responsible for designing and installing mechanical, electrical and heating, ventilation and air conditioning services, also achieved full accreditation.

Mike Groarke, CEO of Boulting Group commented: ‘We take great pride in our health and safety record and are determined to lead the industry in this area. It is crucial to be focused in this sector and we will remain diligent.'

Boulting Group has a considerable reputation for health and safety having won 21 consecutive Golds at the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards and Safecontractor accreditation will enhance the company's ability to attract new contracts.

Under the Safecontractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice.
