Flooring: The look of wood (and more) for less

THE LOOK OF WOOD (AND MORE) FOR LESS

German hard flooring manufacturer Meister's oak-effect laminate collections offer on-trend luxurious styles with the look and feel of wood but with enhanced performance and at a fraction of the cost.

Meister's collections range in price from approximately £14 to £40 per m2 (excluding fitting), and all six wood-effect ranges feature a variety of finishes from the traditional tones of natural oak to the contemporary colouring of lyed white oak. They are suitable for use in all living areas with heavy wear such as kitchens, hallways, living rooms and home offices.

Family-owned business Meister has been manufacturing innovative flooring in Germany for over 75 years and remains committed to achieving the highest standards, using only sustainable resources. Its laminate collections come with a warranty of up to 25 years for domestic use, with unique technical features including reduced personal static build up, extra resilience to scratches and added noise reduction. They are all certified by the Blue Angel, the world's premier award for environmentally-friendly products.

Meister's laminate flooring collections are perfect for any interior style, from urban retreat to refined minimalism.

Rustic charm

Floors featuring knot-marks, saw marks and grain-effects add a rustic and natural charm to interiors. Meister Belvedere in Cognac Rustic Oak (6256) and Light Cracked Oak (6258) are the perfect way to create a stylish floor that's bang on trend now, but will stand the test of time in terms of both design and wear. Prices for Meister Belvedere start at approximately £14 per m2 (excluding fitting).

Shabby chic

For a more luxurious floor, Meister Barolo is the ultimate collection, with longer, wider planks and non-repeating décor making it perfect for shabby chic interiors which demand a slightly more refined but still natural look.

Meister Barolo is available in a contemporary colour palette of six oak effects, from White Oak Harmonious (6139) to the warm tones of Toffee Oak (6275) and the more industrial silver-grey finish of Mohair Grey Vintage Oak (6288). Prices start at approximately £40 per m2 (excluding fitting).

Contemporary cool

In the UK, Meister's top selling laminate is Rosada Boathouse Oak (6188), a subtle shade combined with a raw wood surface texture to give the appearance and feel of freshly sanded timber. Meister Rosada features an all-round bevel creating a V-joint and an individual plank effect; the planks are extra long to create a highly spacious effect. Meister Rosada is a mid-priced range, starting at £28 per m2 (excluding fitting).

Meister laminate flooring collections can be found in a growing network of independent flooring retailers. Further information can be found by visiting http://www.interfloor.com/meister/ or https://www.facebook.com/MeisterUK.
