Yorvale wins race to supply for eighth year running

A York ice cream manufacturer is celebrating after winning the contract to supply York Racecourse with its ice cream for the eighth consecutive year.

Yorvale, chosen to supply the hospitality areas at the racecourse with a range of flavours from its farm based factory in nearby Acaster Malbis, has created daily specials for the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival from 19^thto 22^ndAugust. Yorvale's 20^thanniversary award winning flavour, Kit's Blueberry opens the race card on 19^thand is followed on 20^thby new Yorkshire Rhubarb and Custard, by Rocky Road on 21^stand the finale is courtesy of bronze winner at the Nantwich International Cheese and Dairy awards; Raspberry Cheesecake on 22^ndAugust.

Director of Yorvale, Lesley Buxton, says "We're very proud to have retained the business for the eighth year and hope that visitors will enjoy both the ice cream and the great racing experience that York offers."

Yorvale has been producing ice cream from its farm based business for 26 years.
