Benson Ell Theatrical Productions Ltd. presents Stiles and Drewe'sSoho Cinders A New Musicalat Birmingham's Old Rep Theatre in Summer 2016, featuring West End and Midlands based Musical Director Chris Passey.

"Edgy, fun and deliciously naughty, Soho Cinders celebrates the capital's most colourful district.

When impoverished student Robbie becomes romantically involved with engaged Mayoral candidate James Prince, his lap-dancing step-sisters become the least of his problems! James and Robbie's worlds collide forcing them to fight for their own fairy-tale ending in this hilarious, satirical twist on the classic Cinderella story. The potent mix of politics, sex-scandals and true love come together in this contemporary musical with an infectious score that you'll be humming long past the stroke of midnight!

Soho Cinderswas premiered on the 9th October 2011 at The Queen's Theatre in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. The concert starred Hannah Waddingham, David Badella, Michael Xavier, Jos Slovick, and Beverley Rudd and was narrated by Sandi Toksvig. A full production of Soho Cinders ran at the Soho Theatre (9th August - 9th September 2012) and received 4 star reviews from The Guardian, The Evening Standard and 5 stars from Attitude magazine."

Benson Ell Theatrical Productions was formed in 2015 by Bradley Benson and Jenny Ell as they discovered a gap in the Birmingham theatre scene for mid-scale professionally produced theatre. Bradley trained in Musical Theatre at Birmingham's Ormiston Academy and Jenny in Stage Management and Technical Theatre at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. This marks their first professional production in Birmingham and they hope it will be the first of many!
