One of Cornwall's leading marketing agencies, based in Redruth, has made a key promotion in order to drive the business forward.

Eventy - Marketing & PRhas promoted marketing expert, Lucy Cornes, to Senior Account Director just 12 months after she joined the thriving company.

Lucy, who lives in St Erth with her husband, joinedEventyas an Account Manager in 2014 and has quickly risen to the new position; she is now responsible for providing strategic input across all clients at the busy agency.

Helen Mulhern, Managing Director of Eventy - Marketing & PR said:

"Lucy has been a key part of our success over the past year, including suggesting the recent move to Krowji from Penryn, which has been an exciting time for the company. Appointing Lucy to the newly created role of Senior Account Director atEventy - Marketing & PRwill enable her to share her expertise strategically across all clients and manage our team on a day-to-day basis. This will also allow me to focus on developing the business, approaching new clients and consolidating our current client base."

Prior to joining Eventy, Lucy ran her own business - Cornwall Content - as a freelance marketer and copywriter for esteemed food, drink and arts clients across Cornwall.

Having previously held positions as a marketing manager for a wine merchant and a communications executive for an energy charity, Lucy has a breadth of experience in a diverse range of sectors.

Lucy is well connected, particularly in West Cornwall, bringing her knowledge of the area and strong relationships with the local and national media to her role at Eventy.

"I'm looking forward to meeting new challenges as Senior Account Director, developing the marketing strategies of our clients and helping to manage our talented team, while still working as a dedicated Account Manager for some key client accounts,"says Lucy.

The news comes after Eventy's recent move from Seaways House in Penryn to Krowji in Redruth, the first announcement in a spell of exciting changes and developments for the established marketing agency.
