2016 WOLSEY LODGE BROCHURE NOW AVAILABLE

Wolsey Lodges, the UK'soriginal luxury B&B group, has launched its latest brochure. Containingover 100 propertiesspanning the UK, and some in France, there are25 new membersto the line up in the 2016 brochure. For nearly 35 years, Wolsey Lodge hosts have been offering an exceptional level of hospitality, including in many instances a superb evening meal by prior arrangement, as well as top-notch bed and breakfast. The inspiration for the name came from King Henry VIII's Lord Chancellor, Cardinal Wolsey, who famously toured the realm, expecting to receive generous hospitality at suitable country houses on his travels.

Castles, manor houses, chateaux, shooting lodges and a stately home open to the public feature in the brochure and many properties boast breathtakingly beautiful views.

 The name has always been synonymous with the very highest level of luxury, warmth of welcome and personal service when it comes to B&Bs - not least thanks to the group's rigorous inspection procedure.

As well as the more traditional Wolsey Lodges some properties are slightly larger, with more bedrooms. They are more akin to a boutique hotel or have additional facilities not normally found in a traditional Wolsey Lodge and they are clearly highlighted in the brochure.

 The hosts are all English speaking and come from a wide range of different backgrounds - business people, engineers, bankers, medics, caterers, musicians, artists, writers and even former Olympians. They are all knowledgeable about their area and enjoy assisting their guests explore the surrounding area.
