Inspired
by The Great Pottery Throw Down?
Join us
for Hey Clay!
Friday 4
and Saturday 5 December
Have you been inspired by the BBC’s Great Pottery Throw Down this
autumn? If so you’ll be pleased to hear that on Friday 4 and Saturday 5
December the Leach Pottery are taking part in Hey Clay! - a national celebration of clay organised by the Crafts
Council and BBC Get Creative which aims to give everyone the chance to unleash
their inner potter.
Along with studios, museums and galleries across the country, the Leach
Pottery invite you to roll up your sleeves and get creative with clay. Come
along and make a clay character at one of our free, family friendly morning
classes or afternoon ‘drop-in’ sessions and help us as we endeavour to make a
whole community of clay people. These fun, family friendly hand-building
sessions are available to all ages and abilities. No firing is included. Hey
Clay! At the Leach Pottery includes free entry to the museum on both Friday and
Saturday, and free throwing demonstrations in the old pottery workshop.
