Bower & Bailey sponsor Swindon Guide Dogs 2016 calendar

For the third successive year, Bower & Bailey, the multi-branch firm of solicitors, is supporting Swindon Guide Dogs calendar, following an excellent take-up of the 2015 and 2014 editions.

Swindon Guide Dogs supports 20 guide dog partnerships across Swindon at a cost of around £5 per day each. That’s £36,500 annually. Funds raised by the sponsorship and sales of the charity’s calendar help Swindon Guide Dogs meet these costs and provide its indispensable service.

The 2016 calendar, priced at £5.00 each, will make an ideal gift for dog lovers and others keen to support Swindon Guide Dogs. All dogs featured will be working guide dogs, retired guide dogs or puppies in training to be guide dogs in Swindon or Chippenham.

Around 1,000 copies of the calendar will printed, which could potentially raise a further £5,000 for the charity.

Bower & Bailey’s sponsorship of the calendar over the last two years has also raised awareness of how a gift in your will can benefit Swindon Guide Dogs. Two in three guide dog partnerships created are funded by gifts in wills, according to Alan Fletcher, Chairman of Swindon Guide Dogs.

We are very excited to launch our 2016 calendar with the firm in September after the resounding success we have had with the previous editions.”

The calendar will be available from September 2015 and can be purchased from the Bower & Bailey Solicitors office, Cambridge House, 4 College Court, Regent Circus, Swindon, SN1 1PJ.
