Bower & Bailey sponsors Highworth Town Juniors FC’s under 7s

With the new football season underway, Bower & Bailey Swindon has thrown its support behind Highworth Town Juniors FC’s under 7 Js team. As part of its new sponsorship deal, the law firm has met the cost of the team’s new training hoodies, which will bear the Bower & Bailey logo.

Bower & Bailey Swindon is a big supporter of its local community. The deal with Highworth Town Juniors FC’s under 7s team underpins its commitment to youth sport in Wiltshire, which previously saw the firm sponsor Swindon Rangers FC under 13s.

Highworth Town Juniors FC is an FA Charter Standard Community Club. It offers quality football coaching to children regardless of gender or background and currently has around 30 teams offering football to both Boys and Girls, as well as an Ability Counts team for children with both Physical & Cognitive disabilities. The club is one of few in Wiltshire to have an FA Community Club award. A registered charity, Highworth Town Juniors FC supports the advancement of education in young people in Highworth and the surrounding areas.

The club was officially formed in 2008 following the merger of two clubs, Highworth Town and Highworth Juniors.

Speaking about the sponsorship, Simon Smith, partner at Bower & Bailey, said: “As a family friendly business we support the local community wherever we can. Football is a great sport for children. It helps to keep them fit and builds valuable social and team working skills.”

David Gunn, commercial manager at Highworth Town Juniors FC, said: “It’s great for the players, parents, coaches and everyone else here that businesses like Bower & Bailey support clubs like ours. Their sponsorship enables us to continue working with local talented and enthusiastic young footballers.”

Barry Seller, the U7J manager, the team for which Bower & Bailey have kindly supported this season, said “We are incredibly grateful to have found a local business who is able to contribute to the kids training kit this season and who have thrown their support behind our team. We hope to be able to continue this relationship in the future”.

Looking after the interests of private and commercial clients in the UK and abroad, Bower & Bailey Solicitors provides a full range of legal services from its offices across southern England.
