Avalon to exhibit at the National Funeral Exhibition

Avalon, one of Europe’s leading providers of pre-paid funeral plans, has confirmed its participation at the National Funeral Exhibition at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire in June 2015.

Avalon works with reputable independent funeral directors to fulfil pre-paid funeral plans at the time of need in accordance with customers’ wishes. Guaranteeing payment to funeral directors, Avalon pays commercial fees on plans that increase on every anniversary from outset by CPI.

Avalon is happy to work alongside funeral directors’ current pre-paid funeral plan providers. It does not enforce exclusivity deals nor does it ask funeral directors to actively sell its plans. Avalon sells its pre-paid funeral plans to customers who have expressed an interested in the service. It does not cold call.

Avalon offers three comprehensive funeral plan packages in the UK; Balmoral, Highgrove and Windsor Way.

Avalon gives funeral directors the chance to showcase the quality of their services in their community. There are no fees for accepting a funeral plan from Avalon. Funeral directors also get access to Avalon’s dedicated funeral directors department, which offers support and expert knowledge of the industry.

With new leadership in place, Avalon is transforming its business and putting the customer at the heart of everything it does. There is new emphasis on sales compliance, customer service and a culture of professionalism across the organisation.

Avalon has recently strengthened its senior management team. New appointments include Liz Younger, head of risk and compliance, Chris Millington, head of marketing, Tina Bailey, head of change and Mike Emery, UK sales director.

Senior executives from the company will also be on hand to answer any questions funeral directors have about the organisation.

Looking forward to the National Funeral Exhibition, Avalon CEO, Steve Chambers, said: “Rising funeral costs are a real and growing concern across the UK. The National Funeral Exhibition gives us the ideal opportunity to engage with other influential people in the industry and promote services that ease the burden of arranging a funeral.”

The National Funeral Exhibition will take place from 12 – 14 June at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. Avalon is exhibiting on stand 28 in hall 1.
