Parade

Country Club

Elizabeth Harwood is an artist, marketer, business mentor and motivational speaker.
Elizabeth has developed a style that’s fluid, organic and abstract, yet deep and emotional. She’s inspired by the scenery of the Savernake Forest in Wiltshire, the sea and her profound sense of history.
Elizabeth makes a wide range of her art pieces available for rent in corporate workspaces. She also welcomes portrait commissions.
Elizabeth is preparing to unveil a range of fabulous new paintings at the September Party of Art. These include:
Ghost Ships
100 cm x 100 cm
Inspired by the sea and Elizabeth’s recent holiday in Greece, Ghost Ships captures the movement of sailing and the wind catching in the sails.
Sails at Sunset
60 cm x 60 cm
Colour intrigues Elizabeth, especially when the sun sets over the ocean, creating a luminescence that radiates warmth. Clean lines and a subtle inclusion of yachts on the horizon, make this piece an unusual one for Elizabeth.
Stormy Waters
60 cm x 60 cm
Inspired by Cowes Week and the stormy and often grey Solent, Elizabeth used a method of scraping and turning to form the lower part of this picture.
Sunrise and Rockpools
100 cm x 50cm
Having lived in Lanzarote for many years, Elizabeth is drawn to the craggy rockpools and turquoise shades of the Atlantic. This piece captures the promise of a beautiful Canarian day and the roar of the waves crashing into volcanic lava.
Looking forward to her September Party of Art event, Elizabeth said: “I’m really encouraged by the response to my work, so I’m delighted to be hosting these two further events. The Hope and Crown in Marlborough, the venue for the first, is an oasis of peace, light and space where guests can relax and enjoy the art in their own time. We’ll be serving bubbles and canapes in the gallery and of course there’s an open bar downstairs.”
She continues “Donnington Grove is the Golf Club where I play and with the stunning backdrop of the castle, long fairways, expansive lakes this is a truly exceptional venue to show my art and one that inspires many of the canvasses I have created exclusively for the exhibition.
Tickets for both events
are available now at the Elizabeth Harwood Art website. The price of just £10 includes a glass of bubbly,
nibbles and a post card of one of the paintings. You can also purchase tickets
at the venues themselves.
